Manuel Montoro Esteban

Manuel is an architect specialised in the development of computational design and automation tools. After his architectural studies in Madrid and working in several practices he moved to the UK, where he completed an MSc in Architectural Computation.

After five years in London working for Bryden Wood in roles related to automation design for architecture and engineering, Manuel relocated to Madrid and joined ARUP in 2025, where he uses his skills and background to bring together the needs of engineers, modellers and designers with bespoke tools for each design need and use case.

Manuel has taught automation and modelling workshops at ETSAM-UPM and at The Bartlett School of Architecture's B-Pro.
