What tools will we use?

Do I need a powerful computer?

How much time per week does MIAWS require?

Is there a fixed start date or can I join anytime?

MIAWS runs in cohorts with a fixed start date. The first cohort targets February 2027. Ethics and Limits

What about AI ethics and its limits?

Ethics is not a standalone module — it is integrated throughout the program. Language models hallucinate; image models can generate impossible geometries; analyses are only as good as the data they receive. The program works with these real limits in every module. Training datasets over-represent certain typologies, geographies, and aesthetics. Energy costs are growing. The architect's responsibility for design decisions does not diminish because part of the process was AI-assisted. Knowing where each tool fails is a condition for using it well.

Does AI replace architects?

No. AI changes what architects do, not whether architects are needed. The design decisions, client relationships, material understanding, regulatory navigation, and site judgment that define architectural practice are not automated by current AI systems.
