Sergio del Castillo Tello is an award-winning architect in several AECO competitions, holding an Honours Degree and Higher Diploma from ETSAM — Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid — awarded by the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM). He is the founder of MIAUTICS (miautics.com) — a Computational Design expert group providing AECO consulting services, operating as a project design office, and developing diverse academic programmes.
He is a New Technologies for Architectural Design expert, teaching at multiple institutions and postgraduate programmes, including the COAM Institute of Education (IFC), IED Istituto Europeo di Design, Telefónica (UGT, CEOE, CEPYME), ESNE, UDIT, IAM (ETSAM, UPM), UNIR, BUTIC, CICE, UDLA, MADAA, CEI, SENA, FITS, UIMP, Feng Chia University (Taiwan), the Master in Collective Housing (MCH, UPM–ETH Zürich, where he leads the New Emergent Technologies module), and Aalto University, among others — as well as professional training at offices including ARUP, CAPA, METROPOLI, and INGREEN.
At MIAWS he serves as Module Coordinator for F0 (Essential Workflows Overview — the foundational AI working environment, mindset, and core pipelines every architect needs) and Module Coordinator for F3 (AI Modeling — AI-driven 3D modelling, generative form, and parametric intelligence).
