Lucía Martín de Aguilera

Lucía is an architect (MArch, ETSAM) and software developer with more than five years of experience in applied research, development and innovation within the building sector. Her work operates at the intersection of architecture, sustainability and software, with a focus on digitalisation, BIM workflows, interoperability and data-driven processes. She has contributed to national and international projects related to energy renovation, lifecycle assessment, industrialised construction and smart building technologies.

With experience across startups, research organisations and multidisciplinary teams, she develops digital tools, automation systems and computational workflows for the management and visualisation of building information. Alongside technical development, she has coordinated R&D initiatives, contributed to grant-funded innovation projects and led internal training in BIM and computational design. Her practice is informed by a hybrid approach that combines architectural thinking, research and software development, with a strong interest in the role of emerging technologies in the transformation of the built environment.
